{"id":9952,"date":"2021-11-12T11:12:03","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T16:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/?p=9952"},"modified":"2021-11-12T11:12:03","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T16:12:03","slug":"new-schooldudes-asset-essentials-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/new-schooldudes-asset-essentials-system\/","title":{"rendered":"New: SchoolDude&#8217;s Asset Essentials System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For years, ACPS has used SchoolDude&#8217;s Maintenance Direct as our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) work order system and it has been beneficial for our operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Department of Facilities and Operations is excited to announce that ACPS will soon be transitioning to SchoolDude&#8217;s <\/span><b><i>Asset Essentials<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> system, a next-generation maintenance management system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While this upgrade may seem slightly more complex, it is more intuitive and detailed in ways that will benefit our staff and our school&#8217;s needs. This progressive change will allow the department to better track work orders, asset management and other necessary functions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asset Essentials will be replacing Maintenance Direct in SchoolDude, so all other functions (such as FSDirect) will continue as normal. Some of the highlights of Asset Essentials that make it a better program over Maintenance Direct are listed below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customizable dashboard for prioritizing important information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Summary pages to see multiple records at one time<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diverse work order routing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Batch updating<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dynamic Preventative Maintenance platform<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mobile app with work order request ability<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everyone\u2019s account information should have been automatically migrated over to the new system, accessed with the following address: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/assetessentials.dudesolutions.com\/ACPS\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/assetessentials.dudesolutions.com\/ACPS<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Asset Essentials app is also available to download on Google Play for Android and App Store iOS devices.
