ACPS has health and safety mitigation measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the school division. It also has a plan for any students who need to isolate as they have been diagnosed with COVID-19, as well as students who need to quarantine as they have been identified as close contacts of someone with COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n

The isolation period is 10 days long for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. The quarantine period for individuals identified as close contacts is 14 days. Fully-vaccinated individuals who are not experiencing symptoms and individuals who have had COVID-19 within the last 90 days are exempt from quarantine requirements so long as they are symptom-free.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ACPS will use live streaming for students who need to quarantine. Live streaming allows students to view their teacher providing instruction in the school classroom in real-time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
