{"id":9682,"date":"2021-08-27T14:27:54","date_gmt":"2021-08-27T18:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/?p=9682"},"modified":"2021-08-27T14:27:54","modified_gmt":"2021-08-27T18:27:54","slug":"covid-testing-begins-august-30-for-staff-who-did-not-upload-vaccine-cards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/covid-testing-begins-august-30-for-staff-who-did-not-upload-vaccine-cards\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID Testing Begins August 30 for Staff Who Did Not Upload Vaccine Cards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">COVID-19 testing will be required as of Aug. 30 for ACPS employees who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or who did not disclose their vaccination status or upload vaccine cards into TalentEd by Aug. 26, 2021. With a spike in positive cases across the country, largely driven by the Delta variant, the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/mandatory-staff-vaccination-survey-due-monday-8-23-and-staff-webinar\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">School Board adopted a recommendation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at its Aug. 19 Special Called Meeting to require employees to either voluntarily report their completed vaccination status or submit to weekly COVID-19 testing as a proactive approach to health and safety in our schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As explained during the <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/591240642\/7dee78b7ee\">ACPS staff webinar<\/a> held on Monday, Aug. 23, staff members who are not vaccinated or who did not disclose their vaccination status will need to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing and show documentation of a negative result. This will mean being tested outside of your ACPS worksite. The weekly testing will be carried out in an effort to limit the potential spread of COVID-19 in the workplace and the community. Additional information will be made available as we work through this process and adapt to a continually changing situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Staff who need to submit weekly COVID-19 test results will receive an email message with a link that allows them to upload their test results each week beginning on Monday, Aug. 30.
