You can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/Page\/1855\">watch all meetings recorded online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><b>The Family Engagement Evaluation<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The Family Engagement evaluation looked at how we engage our families across ACPS. Family engagement is particularly important in ensuring success for students so that they can continue their learning at home. The team carried out interviews, focus groups and sent out secret shoppers to test how we operate. The evaluators had two recommendations around training staff in family engagement across the division and also making better use of the platforms that connect families to their child\u2019s academic progress or school.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/esbpublic.acps.k12.va.us\/attachments\/fb905dcd-b6c3-4efe-9947-b1073b17898a.pdf\">View the presentation slides (PDF)<\/a> to see how we did!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/alexandriaschoolsva.swagit.com\/play\/02202020-856\/11\/\">Watch the video of the presentation<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Capital Improvement Program Budget Quarterly Reports<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The Q2 Quarterly Report contains a summary of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) work that took place during the second quarter of FY2020 (October 1, 2019-December 31, 2019).<\/p>\n<p>You can read about the work that took place at our schools on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/Page\/2648\">Quarterly Report web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Upcoming Summer Projects<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Each summer, ACPS uses the summer break to carry out repairs and updates to our buildings. This upcoming summer is no different.
