The ACPS Department of Financial Services has appointed Aleksandra (Aleks) Biskoup as Assistant Budget Director.<\/p>\n
Biskoup has more than 19 years of financial management experience, with 11 of those years in a managerial role leading high-functioning teams. She has a proven track record of managing large and complex budgets.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining ACPS, she supervised financial planning and analysis for the Office of the Chief Operating Officer at FHI360, an international nonprofit working to improve the health and well-being of people in the United States and around the world.<\/p>\n
Her responsibilities there included leading the annual budget cycle for a portfolio of $800+ million in annual revenue programmed in the primary and secondary education, health, civil society and peace building, and emergency response service delivery.<\/p>\n
Her collaborative approach, ability to problem-solve, and lean-in attitude will be an asset to ACPS.<\/p>\n
Biskoup says she is is “thrilled” to join the ACPS family and is looking forward to “making a lasting change in the lives of our students.”<\/p>\n
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on DIY house projects.<\/p>\n
