ACPS is offering teachers the chance to apply for a Teachers\u2019 Dream Fund award up to $4,999.\u00a0The last day\u00a0to apply for an award is\u00a0Wednesday, December 16. Applications will not be accepted after 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
The Alexandria City School Board has allocated $57,000 to help teachers and other licensed professionals fund their dream projects. Any licensed ACPS professional (individual or groups) working directly with students may write a proposal to fund a project.<\/p>\n
Projects in the past have included buying sets of remote response clickers, digital voice recorders, science lab equipment such as worm farms, classroom libraries and field trips to enhance the curriculum.<\/p>\n
