This causes issues with parking at some of our schools.<\/p>\n<p>To assist with the election and to reduce the number of vehicles occupying spaces on our campuses, the schools&#8217; administration are being encouraged to allow flexibility in the work schedules of instructional staff. <em><strong>ACPS will support a principal&#8217;s decision to allow instructional staff to work from home on November 7.<\/strong> <\/em>Instructional staff includes administrators, counselors, teachers and paraprofessionals.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Instructional support staff, including paraprofessionals, will be given the flexibility to participate in professional development from home or at school by completing\u00a0online coursework assigned to them through <a href=\"https:\/\/firstnetcampus.com\/VML2\/entities\/VML\/logon.htm\">VML University<\/a>.<\/strong> <\/em>Staff will receive descriptions regarding the coursework and instruction separately.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Non-instructional staff will report to their school and work normal contract hours.<\/strong> <\/em>Typical non-instructional staff that report on a teacher work day include custodians\u00a0and office staff. Principals should discuss work schedules with their non-instructional\u00a0staff that will allow them the opportunity to vote.
