Are you a 10 or 11 month employee? Then we have news you can use.<\/p>\n

With the end of the school year approaching, this is a reminder that for 10 and 11 month employees, the deductions for the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) pension plan and basic life insurance will not<\/b><\/u> be taken out of your paychecks during the summer months (July and August for 10-month employees; July for 11-month employees).<\/p>\n

Deductions will resume during your next contract period, from\u00a0August 15 pay (for 11 month employees) or September 15 \u00a0pay (for 10 month employees) through June 30, 2018.<\/div>\n
