ACPS recently announced that Canvas, a modern and innovative learning management system (LMS), will replace Blackboard beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. Teachers can now log into Canvas and begin exploring this new tool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Getting Started<\/b><\/h3>\n

Every teacher has a \u201csandbox\u201d course which can be used to start learning how the system works. Review our <\/span>getting started information<\/span><\/a> and dive in!<\/span><\/p>\n

Self-Guided Training<\/b><\/h3>\n

Canvas provides several ways for teachers to learn at their own pace at times that best fit their schedule, including video tutorials, online documentation, and interactive webinars. <\/span>Access the self-guided training.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

In-Person Training<\/b><\/h3>\n

Numerous opportunities will be available for teachers to attend in-person Canvas training both over the summer and throughout the 2017-2018 school year. Search courses using <\/span>keyword \u201cCanvas\u201d in PLMS to register<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
