HR staff will be available to help with benefits enrollment online via Employee Self Service (ESS). You can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relax and enjoy a free seated massage<\/li>\n<li>Sample healthy fruits and snacks<\/li>\n<li>Learn about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/findingfit\">ACPS Finding Fit<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/?p=2927\">Spring Health Challenge<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Get details about \u201cReal Appeal,\u201d a United Healthcare wellness program that promotes healthy diet and physical activity for lasting weight loss<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For details on Open Enrollment, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/benefits\">www.acps.k12.va.us\/benefits<\/a> or log into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/ESS\">ESS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Reminders:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log into\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/ESS\">ESS<\/a>\u00a0to review your current benefits and choose your health insurance benefits for next year, as needed.<\/li>\n<li>If you have no changes in your health insurance coverage, no action is required<strong>.<\/strong> If you do nothing, your current health insurance elections will stay the same.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in Health Care and Dependent Care Spending Accounts requires new enrollment each year. You must make your election for each account through ESS or submit a paper enrollment form to Human Resources.<\/li>\n<li>Effective July 1, CareFirst will be our new dental carrier, replacing MetLife Dental.\u00a0Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/benefits\">CareFirst FAQ<\/a>\u00a0for details.<\/li>\n<li>The benefits you elect will remain in effect from July 1, 2017 \u00a0to June 30, 2018, unless you have a qualifying life event (marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open Enrollment ends next Wednesday, May 31.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have questions about Open Enrollment?
