Calling all teachers, coaches and instructional specialists: ACPS is hosting a Summer Curriculum Institute and you are invited to apply to participate.<\/p>\n
The Institute will be held June 27-29 at T.C. Williams Minnie Howard Campus and will incorporate professional learning and curriculum development over the course of the three-day interactive workshop.<\/p>\n
Join teachers from across the division to help build a dynamic, comprehensive and differentiated curriculum. Develop your skills in leading curriculum implementation and facilitating professional learning in your school.<\/p>\n
Participants will collaborate on and contribute to a rich curriculum that supports the needs of our diverse learners. Working in grade-level and content area teams, participants will revise and refine the ACPS written curriculum, including year-at-a-glance documents, performance assessments and lesson plans to support teaching and learning.<\/p>\n
Teachers will receive re-certification points and a $450 stipend for completing the workshop.<\/p>\n
