Three recipients in the leadership category have been singled out for their dedication and achievement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrick Henry K-8 School Academic Principal Andaiye Cammon \u201cpours her heart and soul into every aspect of our school,\u201d says Principal Dr. Ingrid Bynum, who nominated her. \u201cShe works hard to ensure we provide high levels of instruction and socio-emotional support for individual students.\u201d Cammon is commended for embodying the true spirit of \u201cdoing what is right for children.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Alexandria City High School (ACHS) Campus Administrator Carmen Sanders is praised by teachers as deserving of every honor for being the best at keeping students safe and striving for success. She is considered an excellent problem solver and someone who \u201ccares enough to pick up garbage outside even when no one is looking.\u201d Sanders takes into account \u201cthe needs of students with disabilities in the City-Wide program when coordinating events for the whole student body.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>ACHS Academy 2 Administrator for Instruction and Student Support Christopher Thompson is known for cultivating an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork.
