Here are some tips on health and safety from the ACPS Department of Student Services and Equity:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Follow <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/travelers\/index.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CDC travel precautions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> over break.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wear a mask indoors during travel<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consider making an appointment at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/curative.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Curative.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Alexandria for free COVID-19 testing following your return from travel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consider <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alexandriava.gov\/Vaccines\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">getting vaccinated<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or receiving a booster if eligible.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have a care plan in place if your student has to stay home for any reason on short notice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make sure your student is bringing home their device, charger, and instructional materials daily.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Check your email and answer calls over winter break.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ACPS will continue to notify close contacts of COVID-19 cases in ACPS facilities over the winter break.
