Last fall, Madeline <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/news\/?p=6908\">advanced as a semi-finalist<\/a>, representing less than one percent of all high school seniors in the United States. The test serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year.<\/p>\n<p>National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced later this month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>T.C.
