Join the Technology Plan Advisory Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>In December, the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) released <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.virginia.gov\/support\/technology\/edtech_plan\/plan\/index.shtml\">updated guidelines<\/a> for developing 2018-2023 Division Technology Plans. This spring, ACPS will use these guidelines as it develops its new Technology Plan with input from staff, students and community members.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in the development of the new ACPS Technology Plan, please apply to be part of the Technology Plan Community Advisory Committee. As a member of this committee, you would need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be familiar with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.virginia.gov\/support\/technology\/edtech_plan\/plan\/index.shtml\">VDOE Technology Plan<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/cms\/lib\/VA01918616\/Centricity\/Domain\/807\/tech-plan.pdf\">ACPS Technology Plan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acps.k12.va.us\/cms\/lib\/VA01918616\/Centricity\/Domain\/807\/tech-plan-addendum.pdf\">Addendum <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Attend at least two meetings<\/li>\n<li>Bring your unique knowledge and experience to support and inform the planning process and the development of goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional work outside of meetings is not required.<\/p>\n<p>The committee will meet on the following dates and times at ACPS Central Office, 1340 Braddock Place.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Wednesday, Feb. 28, 6:30 &#8211; 8 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Wednesday, April 18, 6:30 &#8211; 8 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Wednesday, May, 9, 2- 4 p.m.*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*If you cannot attend the May 9 meeting because it of the time, information will \u00a0be shared electronically that day.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in participating, please <a href=\"https:\/\/acpsweb.wufoo.com\/forms\/q5g51wf0jr2wtc\/\">apply<\/a> by February 9.
