Budget planning starts in the fall and continues until the final budget is approved the following May. As budget planning for the 2017-18 School Year begins, ACPS is seeking input from the community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Please join us at the upcoming Community Budget Forum:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Thursday, October 6, 2016<br \/>\n7:00 p.m.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> T.C. Williams High School \u2013 Rotunda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>3330 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22302<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Garage parking is available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Interpretation services will be provided.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Please call 703-619-8166 if you need additional accommodations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Learn why you need to get involved in this process:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/p2nfZNAxuMc\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At this Community Budget Forum, we will discuss the upcoming budget process, timeline and the fiscal challenges facing ACPS. There will also be a review of the School Board\u2019s Budget Priorities. Our partners from the Budget Advisory Committee (BAC), Education Association of Alexandria (EAA) and the Parent Teacher Association Council (PTAC) will join the conversation.
