The walk through a black wood.
\nThe path of darkness and no good.
\nA struggle of help and confidence.
\nThat never seems to make sense.
\nThe wood was cold like a blizzard on a winter day.
\nThe leaves were black and sky turned grey.
\nUnfortunately this path is the only one to travel.
\nThe ground was hard and painful like gravel.
\nBut it\u2019s a road we all have to follow.
\nAnd the fog was so thick it was hard to swallow.
\nWalking through a black wood.
\nHaving to endure what no one should.
\nShadows creep in and out.
\nWondering if it\u2019s my sight or mind that has doubt.
\nMaking me want to shout.
\nBut it would alert the creatures that go about.
\nDestroying what was left in my safe seeming kind.
\nAs my mind begins to bind.
\nBreaking down piece by piece wondering if I could ever leave this place.
\nBut the black figures keep bringing down my pace.
\nEnding in mass destruction.
\nRefusing my mind to function.
\nHow do you make it through this dark wood.
\nI can\u2019t believe that anyone could.
\nThe end is near.
\nAnd I\u2019m in total fear.
\nAs I break away from the sane world I used to know.
\nBeing trapped in this black wood.
