\nIf you feel the need to help, then do so.
\nBut you cannot always help those who have joined the mist already.
\nDo not build a partition between yourself and the mist, it will find its way.
\nSave yourself the effort.
\nIf the mist does make its way through your windows,
\nPrepare yourself.
\nIt will wrap itself around your neck.
\nGive you the impression that you will not survive this.
\nIt’ll step on your back, making you believe that you’re dying.
\nIt will erase the life in your eyes and fill it with obscurity.
\nThe only thing you’ll see is the mist.
\nLastly, it will make its way into your mind.
\nCreate these false accusations that you are not worth anything.
\nWhat makes you different than everybody else?
\nNothing is what the mist says.
\nYou fight it off with everything you love, but the darkness sometimes overpowers the light.
\nPlease fight back.
\nBut how can you fight back an intangible object?
\nPlay its game.
\nTrick the mist into believing that you are better than it.
\nThat you are the one with control.
\nSome days it will believe you,
\nBut you cannot trick a trickster, so they say.
\nBut the trick is, there is no trick.
\nYou ARE better than it.
\nYou ARE the one with control.
\nYou WILL become tired and weary.
\nYou WILL become weak.
\nBut you are strong.
\nBecause you see, depression isn’t all in your head.
\nIt’s physical.
\nYou lose the ability to enjoy the things you used to love.
\nYou hate yourself for reasons you cannot control.
\nYou stop eating.
