Meet HANNAH CLARK, the Writer of the Month!

Hannah was picked as the Writer of the Month by the Labyrinth staff because she is what many like to call an “Essay Expert.” Hannah writes fantastic, beautifully written analytical essays for her classes. Her work is always used as a sample in Ms. Gorski’s AP Literature class. Writing a good personal essay is difficult, but writing an essay in third person analyzing the usage of literary devices or the global symbolism of a character’s personality is even more so. Hannah writes these essays with ease, yet she modestly brushed off the designation with a shy smile and a giggle. If you ever want to see an example of a flawless essay, read one of Hannah’s. And congratulations Hannah, for getting accepted to your top choice school, William and Mary!
Take a look at a sample of her work below. This essay was given a 7+ on a 9 point scale for AP English Literature and Composition. The topic was a comparison between a Shakespeare sonnet and a Spencer sonnet as well as the treatment of their lovers in the poem.
